Momo Eloua is a Moroccan rapper based in Berlin. His sound blends raw street attitude with the hypnotic atmosphere of late-night club culture.
His music reflects the tension between struggle
and ambition — loyalty, dominance, celebration,
and the beauty that can grow out of difficult
circumstances.
Momo grew up in southern Morocco and discovered his passion for hip-hop culture and music at an early age. Life in Morocco was hard. And so were his early days in Berlin. Even as a teenager, he worked hard in various jobs, always with the goal of one day recording and releasing his own music.
Momo‘s music reflects the tension between struggle and ambition and the beauty that can grow out of difficult circumstances. At the same time, the stories in his songs often tell of the difficulties in relationships, of love but also jealousy and hate. As the name of his debut EP also shows: Rhymes of Love and Hate Vol.1.
